Now that we are back from camp we are learning to write instructions. Today as an activity we wrote instructions for our talking partner to find a letter around the school.
After writing we did a 5 minute reading test. Only one person in the whole class passed. Well done Raquel!
Here is a copy of the test. See how well you can do at home!
WALT: use the i see method. -State my opinion -Explain what I mean -Give an Example
Bikes are good cars are bad. Cars use too much fuel which is polluting our earth. Bikes give you exercise and don't cost a lot. I have a bike that cost me $99.00, but my mum got a car last year for $6000 plus a $18.000 truck.
Cars pollute the earth. Cars use oil and fuel which is polluting the earth and is causing global warming. In order for cars to go they need Oil so in order for us to use oil in our cars we need to ship it from the United States to New Zealand, and when a fire starts on a oil ship it can explode and leak for days even months before we can stop it. Which means New Zealand may end up like the gulf of Mexico.
Cars cost too much. For some New Zealanders it costs too much to register their cars do the warrant of fitness and more. Fuel is getting too costly and is bad for our Enviroment.

My Dad likes to race with his motorbike. He works at a coke factory and he makes can of coke. My dad has green eyes and brown hair. He eats likes a pig but he's as wise as an owl. My Dad is a great racer and a good listener. He's alright my dad.
